Written Revolution” is a periodic publication produced by Palestinian rights activists at MIT. It is distinguished by the beauty of the production and the wide-ranging essays it carries. The first volume was issued in February 2024. The current issue, Volume V, has been banned from campus. It contains an essay “On Pacifism” that is accompanied by two PFLP posters. The MIT “Ad Hoc Committee on Academic Freedom and Campus Expression” has declared that the “imagery associated with groups that have been identified by the US State Department as terrorist organizations should not be used in MIT publications. Because of the imagery, they need to stop distributing the current issue.” The author of that essay has also been banned from campus.
