Title: Palestinian Universities: Past, Present, Future

Abstract: Ivar Ekeland will describe how Palestinian universities came about, and what everyday life is like for students and staff. He will then describe the present situation, particularly in Gaza, and explore ways foreign universities could contribute to reconstruction.

The lecture will be followed by a question-and-answer session about the lecture, then an open discussion and exchange of opinions and ideas.
