The History

The Palestinian-French Medical-Surgical Day was built at the initiative of the NGO Palmed Europe (Forum of Palestinian Doctors in Europe) in partnership with SoliMed association (Medical solidarity in the Mediterranean region) in order to raise and attempt to respond to health and medical emergencies issues faced by Palestinians.

The Meeting

For this first edition , UROLOGY, NEPHROLOGY topics and others related to the HEALTH SITUATION IN PALESTINE will be developped by renowned physicians specialists from all over Europe. They will share their knowledge and experiences for the benefit of training doctors working in conflict zones in Palestine and elsewhere.

Palestine is known for bringing together controversies; misery and hope, despair and resilience, and exhaustion and determination. In this symposium, Palestine will continue to inspire the politics of medicine, will stimulate the science of war and will guide the construction of excellent health services out of its war-torn land.

Organized by PalMed Europe, JPFMC, the first Franco-Palestinian medical-surgical Symposium will host a group of world leaders in medicine, war medicine and service development. They will evaluate the status of health in Palestine and advise us on how can we get Palestinian health system out of its current misery.

This meeting will offer attendees the opportunity to meet extraordinary personalities and exchange information about interesting contemporary medical themes.
