Since the offensive on Iran began, armed settler militias have carried out a slew of documented raids and attacks on Palestinian shepherding communities and villages throughout the West Bank, in some cases using live fire. At least five Palestinians have been killed in these attacks, which are meant to take over land and sow fear. At the same time, military forces have also carried out raids on Palestinian communities across the West Bank, arresting residents and taking over dozens of homes.
Israel is employing various other means to oppress Palestinians in the West Bank and disrupt daily life, including, as soon as the attack on Iran began, imposing movement restrictions, fully or partially blocking the way in and out of most villages and cities, and blocking movement between different parts of the West Bank. A severe shortage of fuel and gas has developed in the West Bank, with supply now rationed at just a few liters per vehicle.
The 3 million or so Palestinians who live in the West Bank have no access to bomb shelters, nor are they included in the range of Israeli missile warning systems. Missile fragments have fallen in several parts of the West Bank including the Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jenin and Nablus districts, as well as in East Jerusalem.
