Statement on the Academic Restrictions Israel is imposing on International Academics Visiting Palestine | | , ,Scheduled to take effect in May, 2022, the “Procedure for Entry and Residency of Foreigners in Judea and Samaria Region” grants Israeli military immense powers to isolate Palestinian universities from the outside world, and to determine the future course of Palestinian higher education. We the undersigned consider this decision yet another oppressive Israeli strike aimed at controlling and shrinking academic outreach and the Palestinian integration with the global learning sphere.

L’AURDIP demande au CNRS de revoir la coopération scientifique franco-israélienne à la lumière de la jurisprudence russe | | ,Il nous semble, Monsieur le Président, que « la science n’a pas de frontières, mais que les valeurs que toutes les communautés scientifiques portent et partagent ne peuvent supporter cette guerre », qu’il s’agisse de l’invasion de l’Ukraine ou de l’occupation de la Cisjordanie et de Gaza. Il nous semble qu’il est grand temps de rendre hommage aux scientifiques israéliens qui se sont élevés, et continuent à s’élever contre cette agression. Il nous semble enfin que la coopération scientifique franco-israélienne devrait être revue à la lumière de la jurisprudence russe, au niveau du CNRS comme à celui des laboratoires.
